Mentorship Program
Advancing Women in Wine
The Alliance mentorship program is a structured, nine-month one-on-one partnership between am experienced professional and an emerging professional in the wine industry. "Emerging" means new to the industry; age is not a factor.
We strive to help our members develop their innate talents, business acumen, and leadership skills. When we work together to advance emerging professionals, we further women’s representation, create opportunities, and provide leadership in the wine industry.
The program runs annually from February though August. It begins with a group kickoff session (in-person and/or virtual) and ends with a wrap-up/reflection event. Participants receive toolkit, communication guidelines, and access to networking opportunities.
We expect that all program participants will:
- Share and learn leadership skills and practices
- Share and learn technical and trade information
- Establish long term professional relationships with each other and fellow participants
