Wine Club Manager, Bosma Vineyards

Job Overview
In conjunction with the Tasting Room Manager, the Wine Club Manager is responsible for maintaining existing and creating new wine clubs, fulfilling shipments, performing physical inventories, updating OrderPort, placing Bosma Wine in local restaurants and promoting Bosma Wine for corporate giving and events.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives in the wine market.
Foster relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support to enhance customer satisfaction.
Increase membership in existing wine clubs by working with tasting room staff to promote membership to all visitors. Work with the Communications Director to create and print point of sale flyers and forms to be used by staff in this endeavor.
Work with the Communications Director to engage with existing members to promote the perks of their membership thereby increasing their visits and purchases between allocations.
At the direction of the Tasting Room Manager, create new wine clubs and launch them to the public in conjunction with the Communications Director.
Participate in the selection of wines to be released in each wine club allocation.
Communicate with wine club members in advance of all allocations:
Ensure all cards on file are active and correct any cancelled or out of date cards.
Physically pull all wine club allocations and shipments. Prepare shipments with shipping labels and contact all wine club members before shipments are made.
Follow up on any OrderPort issues with wine club allocations and/or shipments.
Ensure product pick-ups are properly released and work with members who have not picked up their last shipment prior to the next release.
Take a physical inventory of all wine and merchandise quarterly.
Work to place our wines in local restaurants and follow up monthly to restock their inventory.
Reach out to local businesses to promote large purchases of Bosma Wine for their events, holiday giving, etc.
Staff the tasting room to be open to the public Monday-Thursday 10-5.
Requirements
Proven experience in a sales management role within the food service or beverage industry.
STRONG computer skills.
Professional email etiquette.
Strong knowledge of wine varieties, regions, and tasting notes is highly desirable.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
Experience with cash handling procedures and POS systems; familiarity with OrderPort is a plus.
Strong upselling skills with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Ability to be VERY dependable and reliable for the hours required, with weekend flexibility as needed for events.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 40 per week

Job Responsibilites
- Assist with the execution of all day-to-day operations of the tasting room, including but not limited to: cleaning, stocking, opening and closing procedures, inventory management and sales.
- Meet sales goals while maintaining a cohesive brand image
- Work to meet wine club membership goals
- Comply with all state and local liquor laws and health codes
- Manage customer inquiries via phone and email
- Meet and exceed targets sales goals
- Ensure that all Board Member contact information is up-to-date.
- Deliver an exceptional experience to guests
Required Qualifications:
- Open availability (weekends, holidays, and some evenings)
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Must obtain a WA MAST Permit and Food Workers Permit upon hire
- Proficient in general computer operating systems
- Ability to learn and master the point-of-sale system
Desired Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in the hospitality industry; preferably the Wine industry and Sales experience
- Be willing and able to deliver exceptional customer service
- Be capable of completing multiple tasks at the same time
- Ability to problem solve quickly and thrive in fast-paced environment
- Have strong interest in the wine industry and growth opportunities within winery
Duration/Compensation/Benefits:
- Salary: $16.00-18.00 per hour
