Voices of Washington Wine
A Brave Space
Brave Spaces is platform to inspire our readers to look within to see how unconscious biases affect their own thoughts, to provide education on various topics surrounding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as it relates to women in the Washington wine industry, and empowering our readers to take meaningful action to drive change forward. This is not only a safe space, but a brave space where anyone can speak, learn, and ask questions without fear of being belittled, ridiculed, and most importantly be retaliated against.
Meet Shae Frichette, Co-owner and Winemaker at Frichette Winery
As we wrap up WAUGUST and National Black Business Month, it is our honor to introduce you to Shae Frichette, co-owner and winemaker at Frichette Winery. Alliance DEI Board Member, Suman Kumar, recently sat down with Shae to discuss taking chances, “WOW” experiences, and being a catalyst for change within the Washington Wine Industry.
If there is a DEI related topic that you would like to discuss in our Brave Space, please feel free to email Suman Kumar to schedule a meeting
